Pass is all you will ever need to Pass your police
Sergeants exam and/or police Inspectors exam!
Launching PASS - November
17th 2000
Prior
to PASS's launch DETAIL recruited Mike Guilfoyle of
Slash Design to be their graphic designer. Mike spent
several months designing the identity and branding
of Detail & PASS. Mike has continued developing
the public perception of DETAIL, refining it's presence
in the marketplace.
V1.01
of PASS was launched to the public in November 2000
with it having been designed to run on any computer
with a Windows Platform. Immediately DETAIL received
requests from Police Forces to use PASS on their own
internal networks, rather than having to install individually
versions of PASS on each of their computers. Thus
year 2001 saw the development of the PASS web-site
which via secure entry allows DETAIL to use the PASS
Engine within a web browser, giving instant access
to PASS's features to unlimited users.
At
the end of the year, Jason Robinson joined the Detail
Team. Jason has extensive web programming skills,
having a broad base of skills in HTML, DHTML, XML,
JAVA, ASP, FLASH, ACTION SCRIPT & .NET. Together
with Ian's classic programming background he became
an invaluable resource in allowing DETAIL to convert
their PC based products into web enabled products.
Throughout this year, Jason constructed the Detail
Web Site, integrating the order processing system
into CARD [Customer Administration Record Database].
At the end of 2001 Jason began work on PASS ONLINE,
which would take several years to perfect; launching
to critical acclaim in August 2006 - alongside our
new website.
*The
police exam questions contained within both Pass and
Pass Online are fully in line with the Centrex Ospre®
syllabus and the current Blackstones Manuals. They
can be used for any of the police Ospre® Pt 1
exams and also the National Investigators Exam.*
